Innovative Model Presentation

As part of my teaching practice, I had the opportunity to present an innovative model to the students of 9D at St. Georotti nalanchira . The topic I focused on was 'Along, specifically the structure of the Indian coastal plain and its various divisions. To make this geographical concept more engaging and easily understandable for the students, I created a 3D model that depicted the divisions of the Indian Coastal Plain in a visually appealing manner.

The aim of this model was to give the students a clear and interactive representation of the Indian Coastal Plain and its divisions, which can often be challenging to visualize through textbooks alone. By using a 3D model, I wanted to break down the concept into easily identifiable regions, helping the students understand the different sections of the coastal plains and how they are classified based on geographical features.

Components of the Model:

The model was designed to represent the entire structure of the Indian coastal plain, and the divisions were carefully crafted to represent the following regions: Western coastal plain, Eastern coastal plain, Malabar coast, Konkan coast, Gujarat coast, Northern Circars, Coromandel coast, Lakshadweep, Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

The test had 25-mark questions and lasted 40 minutes. This test was aimed at assessing the students' understanding of the key concepts, such as the geography of deserts, the importance of gender neutrality, and the characteristics of coastal regions. The students approached the test with seriousness and dedication. While most students demonstrated a good grasp of the material, I noticed that some needed more clarity on specific concepts, such as the gender roles and gender stereotypes discussed in the Towards a Gender-Neutral Society chapter. Overall, I was pleased with their performance, and ...
